mildew is a common problem and easily remedied. Tilex mold and mildew remover is your best friend when dealing with this type of problem. You windows are pretty airtight and the moisture builds up, clean them every week with this product and it will clear up. I'm assuming the bathtub problem is with the caulking around the edge, same thing, use the Tilex for this and it will go away! The humidity in your apartment may be too high.
