The Westown Shopping Centers and Phoenix Brass Armadillo Antique Mall are across the highway, in addition to several shopping plazas and Thunderbird Square Shopping Center. Students and faculty of Northern Arizona University and Brown Mackie College will love the short commute. Several reviewers commend the friendly staff and the maintenance crew, both of which are conscious of resident's concerns and needs. Mountain View Casitas is located on N. 12th Street, a short drive to 101 or I-17. With Buffalo Ridge Park, Quail Run Park, and Werner's Field Park so close, the area is ideal for nature lovers. Fry's Food Store and Bashas' grocery stores are within minutes of the property. Residents can grab a bite at local restaurants like: Gallagher's Sports Grill, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, or Domino's Pizza. Prior to new management, reviewers were dissatisfied with management procedures, slow maintenance, pest infestations, and dilapidated units. Fountains in the Green are in the ideal location for members of Phoenix Country Club, which is a walk-able distance from the property. Residents can easily take the light rail, which stops down the street. Arizona Heart Hospital and the Phoenix Children's Hospital are both less than a mile in the opposite direction. Resident reviews feel rent is reasonable, especially considering the area, but have voiced concerns about infestation issues. Residents can pick up the light rail on North Central Avenue, just streets away from the complex. Despite the prime location, residents are unimpressed by management and the building's security level. Biltmore Promenade is a shoe lover's dream with The Shoe Shop just across the street. Downtown Phoenix is about 7 miles away and can easily be reached via the numerous bus stops in the area and the Piestewa Freeway down the road. Leaseholders can choose to eat from a variety of places, including NYPD Pizza, Baby Kay's Cajun Kitchen, and Chili's. Greenway Springs Apartments is located on 25th Avenue, just off of Interstate 17. Hop on the highway and you can be in downtown Phoenix in minutes. Home Depot, Native New Yorker, Applebee’s, India Palace, Silver Cinemas, and much more can be found a little down the road. Tenants have been fairly critical of Greenway Spring Apartments, the biggest concern being area crime.
