Casa Anita Apartments is just off N. 83rd Avenue, which offers multiple bus stops and quick access to the Papago Freeway. Shopping is a breeze with Desert Skymall, Target, and Kmart a couple miles away; not to mention Sam's Club across the street from the complex. A handful of fast food joints are just off W. McDowell Road, plus restaurants like Texas Roadhouse, Denny's, and Lin's Grand Buffet are a short drive in the opposite direction. The Promenade At Desert Sky sits in between Marivue Park and Desert West Park, providing scenic views for residents. Golfers can go to Maryvale Golf Course for 18 holes just down the road. Downtown is merely 9 miles away, easily traveled with the number of bus stops in the area and the proximity to I-10. Leaseholders can enjoy some peace and quiet at the Palo Verde Library. The property is very close to a wide array of retail destinations, such as: Walmart, Panda Express, Wendy’s, GameStop, Wells Fargo, Subway, Dollar Tree, Walgreen's, and Rainbow Donuts. According to tenant reviews, the area is not as safe as some would like, and many feel the complex could use some attention from the staff. Las Gardenias is located on West McDowell Road, just off of Interstate 10. Nearby are Church’s Chicken, Las Cuatro Milpas, Sainz Mexican, and a US Surplus location. Given its proximity to the highway, residents can easily reach any part of the Phoenix metro area. Reviews have been quite polarized, some reviewers complain that bugs are a problem and maintenance is hard to get a hold of. After undergoing remodeling in the past year, Desert Sky Village Apartments offers affordable housing in a convenient area. Down McDowell Road, tenants will find Walgreen's and Fry’s Food Store Pharmacy. In the opposite direction, they will be able to get groceries at Food City in the McDowell Square Shopping Center. Residents are blocks away from Sueno Park for any outdoor activities. Reviews of Desert Sky do not speak favorably of the maintenance staff, and some say the area can get a little rough at times.
