With three levels and 9 layouts to choose from, Enclave has a full range of apartments from studio to 2 bedroom and 2 bath. Some larger 3rd floor units have a fireplace. Units have washer, dryer, dishwasher. There is covered parking (parking is assigned so you don't have the problem of not getting a spot) and extra storage is available. Enclave had a wave of negative reviews several years ago and I don't see those same problems~ current management doesn't hesitate to address issues. Rents here are the middle of the pack for the San Jose area so being next to the Guadalupe River and trail is an extra fitness benefit in addition to the amenities provided. Read all reviews...

The Fountains At River Oaks is located off Montague Expressway and within minutes from I-880. Just outside the complex is a circle of eateries including Hobee's, Premier Pizza, Kaati Fresh, which serves up gluten-free options, and China Taste, which presents a wide variety of options for all tastes. Golf buffs will enjoy the building's close proximity to the San Jose Municipal Golf Course and those seeking other recreational activities will find that Sunnyvale Baylands Park is nearby and overlooks an inlet of San Francisco Bay. Reviewers have complained about an inattentive management staff and unsafe neighborhood, but a recent review in August 2012 mentioned new management and new renovations in the apartments. Waterford Place resides just off the I-880 and moments from the Mineta San Jose International Airport. A selection of different eateries are within the neighborhood for those looking for different cuisines: Vito's NY Trattoria for authentic Italian, Menara Moroccan Restaurant for exotic Moroccan dishes in a romantic setting, Sushi Coast for inexpensive quality Japanese, and Island Grill for some local Hawaiian meals. A quick drive down North 1st Street takes you to downtown San Jose, an exciting town that houses San Jose State University. Opinions on the staff are mixed - while many tenants find the management to be lacking and unresponsive, others have found the staff to be attentive and the facilities to be accommodating.
