Review for Grand Reserve At Madison Apartments

This apartment community use to be one of the best in Madison. Unfortunately there are 2 managers (Lisa & Ghasan) that have just let the property go down. The landscaping is shoddy, the breezeways are nasty and disgusting. Children play and ride their skateboards in the breezeway all time of the day and night. As far as parking goes, you can forget about it. If you don't get home at a certain time, you can forget about getting a parking space. There is supposed to be two parking spaces per apartment, but that rule doesn't apply at Grand Reserve. And you can forget about making a complaint on a neighbor or their unruly children because nothing will be done and you will most certainly be retaliated against. The rules at the Grand Reserve only apply to some and not the ones that the managers are "friends" with. The mangers "friends" run the property. The pool is nasty and disgusting and is not cleaned by professionals. The managers have opted to have their "friends" (and they are current tenants) clean the pool. As far as I know these people are not certified in cleaning pools or using the right amount of chemicals in the pool to kill bacteria. I wouldn't let my dog swim in that pool. I have never lived in a place where the managers cared so less about the property they are running. We also have a Madison police officer who is supposed to be "security", him and his family are out of control. The managers have befriended these indiviuals and they hang out and smoke and drink with them on a regualr basis. Where is the professionalism in that!
If you are looking for some where quiet and relaxing and clean then the Grand Reserve is not the place for you. I wonder how many indiviuals will actually stay after the managers and the security officer and his family run the place in the ground???????
