Review for Village West Apartments

I am a current student at JSU, and I started living at the village west apartment complex on 02/15/2007. The first sign that these apartments were crappy was the fact that the landlord at the time did not clean the apartment at all, it was dusty, there was old poop under the stove, and we had to make the landlord clean the carpet. So after we cleaned up everything the apartment complex was fine to live at. Summer of 2008 the landlord changed and we also had an on- site manager that really took the time to take care of problems and also did a great job. He ended up getting fired for some reason, and after that the apartments went to Hell... the landlord does not know what she is doing, she flirts with the men tenants. One side of our wall just fell in...JUST FELL IN...Due to mold and termites...and there are some wonderful new tenants that sell and do drugs and keep up a bunch of noise with no regard to anyone else... If you can help it DO NOT MOVE into village west apartments, The bank owns them and I just found out they are trying to sell them for $650,000. Stay away or you will probably be singing my same song. I am so glad we moved.
