Review for Mountain Vista Apartments

I am prior service military so I have moved around quite a bit and for the most part rented everywhere I've lived. These apartments are ridiculously small and horribly overpriced. They charge a fee for redecorating that isn't refundable and when we moved in it was obvious that there had been no occurance of redecorating since the previous renters moved out. While the landscaping of the complex was gorgeous there wasn't anything fantastic about the apartment itself. We got a second floor apartment which would have been fine had the flooring leading into our apartment not felt like it was going to give way at any second once you stepped on it. The angle of the front door is set so perfectly that you can't get any decent sized piece of furniture through it. The appliances were horrible, small, outdated, noisy, not efficient at all. Condensation frequently built up on the windows during the summer and if I wasn't religious about wiping it off every single day black mold would quickly cover the windowsill. My energy bill in this small two bedroom apartment was just slightly lower than what I currently pay for a three bedroom, two bath house with a pool, hot tub, and fish pond! To top it all off the management at this apartment complex has the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. The head manager actually had the nerve to let her four year old daughter look at my account on the computer and tell me how much my rent was for the month. Some of the neighbors were fantastic, but overall my experiences while living in Mountain Vista Apartments has caused me to give it the lowest overall rating possible. If I could give negative stars I would.
