Review for The Ridge At Meadowlake Apartments

Upon moving in the staff was quite nice and helpful. Soon to find out that was how they get your money. After finding spiders we called to get pest control (we saw 3... NO LIE... 3 brown recluses), the office manager asked if we managed to capture one! WTF?! I told her no that we had killed them and disposed of them, she said that it would have to wait until next week and that it was OUR responsibility to make sure to follow up on Monday to ensure that pest control was called, I don't know how it was our responsibility to make sure that the office staff was doing their job after we pay to stay here. We called several times and the office staff was rude and replied that an order had been placed and that it would probably be another week before they could get pest control.... it has been about 3 1/2 weeks and still no pest control!!! Another issue was that they contracted a worker to pressure-wash the parking lot, asking everyone to park 3-4ft. away from the sidewalk, to which we complied. The worker still managed to scratch and dirty the front of my new car... after making a complaint to the office staff, the office manager just came out and said "Oh sorry, that's the first complaint we had." and just stared! Also, if you ever have your toilet overflow make sure you call immediately otherwise it may be several days before the maintainence staff comes to fix it. We called twice to have it fixed, after 2 1/2 hours we called again and the lady at the office said that the maintainence staff was fixing a door and that they would get to it as soon as they could.... WTF!?! She was quite rude and said well if you have a problem with that then you need to come to the office and speak with the manager! We also complained that our washer was making lots and lots of noise but was still washing clothes, they informed us that it was normal and that it would be fine, I believe the neighbors hate us because they think we are setting off bombs every time we wash a load! All-in-all this apartment has been nothing but a nightmare! Little parking, spiders, a rude office staff, and poor maintainence. Also, The Ridge boasts it is a gated-community, however half the time the gates are open....
