You Are Gambling By Moving Here

I've been wanting to write this review for a loooong time. Where do I start'
I'll start with the day I moved into a corner bottom floor apartment. As my family and I finished moving all of my things in there was a brawl upstairs. Every single swear word and stomp was heard. Shoes were thrown out the window. I immediatley wrote the office staff a message---the response was "it wasn't them." Yah, okay. Should have just called the cops. I thought they were the worst neighbors to have....until.....
When the first tenants moved; I celebrated. Then the second night the new tenants proved to be 1 million times worse than the last!!! Stomping; people home all day, all night. And the most irritating part was the "bedroom noise" ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT!!! You had better believe I complained. And, mind you I am a VERY patient professional person. I expected that this has to end. Absolutely nothing ever happened. I continued to complain constantly. My only response was, "it wasn't them." I did EVERYTHING I could to get out of there. I was told that I could move to another apartment---BUT I would have to pay the increased rent and sign another lease. Honestly, this isn't even legal.
In case I thought it couldn't get worse. When the second hell neighbors left I again celebrated. Then the third hell neighbors moved in. A stomping woman and a yippy dog. I very nicely introduced myself to the woman and asked her to please take her shoes off when she walks. She kinda seemed like she was on drugs; but what do I know. She said she thought she was "so quiet" and she "always takes her shoes off." Fine, I thought I won't make a big deal. At least there isn't bedroom noises all hours of the night. Until she started leaving her dog alone all night howling for 10 minutes straight at every hour.
Do you think my complaint would do anything' Of course not. No tenant matters and this is why...the people that live here are placed by the traveling companies they work for that pay the rent for them. This is way more important than one little person spending 50% of her paycheck to live here.
So one night the dog was howling so much and another neighbor walked over complaining. I finally called the cops (not something I ever do). I found out later she was in jail; the dog would go on barking for a while. So she moved out very soon, probably lost her job that paid the rent.
Two months before my lease is up the FOURTH tenant moved in. Quiet as could be; not one single problem. Finally a normal person. But I would never pay this horrible management company another penny for as long as I live.
It's a crap shoot who your neighbor is. And if you have a problem with noise that is truly unreasonable-----NOTHING WILL BE DONE.
I also got completely screwed out of the majority of my security. Not a problem in the place but every single tenant gets charged for paint even if you wash the walls. If you miss a speck of dust under the stove---you will be charged the FULL "professional cleaning fee." I wasted my time cleaning it at all only to be charged.
I'm living in a privately owned apartment. I have never been happier. I still have a neighbor above me----not a single problem.
If you move here; you are gambling. Yes, the apartment is fairly nice; the grounds are pretty and quiet. There is parking and if anything in the apartment needs fixing; it will be fixed. But in my opinion all of that is expected. And I would expect a management company to want to make their tenants comfortable. They have rules in the lease that are not adhered to. It brings back anxiety as I write this. Thank the good Lord I am sleeping in my normal apartment tonight.
