Review for The Marks Apartments

I have been renting for 7yrs as a college student and I have never in my life come across worse apartment management than The Marks. They were never friendly, made it really hard to move out, and always made my roommate and I feel unwelcome (like we were living in THEIR house). We both gave them forwarding addresses upon move-out and never recieved anything in the mail about our deposit or any money owed. All of a sudden I recieve a collections notice about how we owe them $60. A COLLECTIONS notice. How is it that they don't have my forwarding address to send me the actual bill but they have it to give to the collection agency????? Why would we not pay a $60 bill? They were just absolutely nasty and rude to me, my roommate, my sister (who also lived there), and a good friend of mine. They also never bothered to clear the parking lots when it snowed. I was completely trapped in my apt on numerous occassions. I had to have the DM of the company I worked for come pick me up for work one night. It's just absolutely ridiculous. I would never recommend this apt complex to anyone ever! Oh and you can't give less than a one-star rating otherwise all of those one's would have been zero's.

Completely agree! Worst management company ever! After a number of problems with the office staff, I called the manager of the property. On more than one occasion. And left messages. He never returned phone calls. When I went into the office to submit repair requests, half the time the personnel never bothered to record the requests, input them into the system, etc.
