Review for Grandview Meadows Apartments

As far as the apartment itself not too bad. You can feel the vibrations of neightbors moving around sometimes but otherwise pretty quiet. The apartment itself is ok, its nothing spectacular but it was clean and everything worked.

I did have my car broken into while it was parked in the lot so you may want to spend some extra money on a garage.

My biggest complaint is with the office staff. I lived there for nearly five years (why I don't know) and every time I had to deal with somebody in the office I felt like the person didn't care and had no idea what they were doing. Twice I was told I owed the office hundreds of dollars and both time after much arguing and going through old receipts it was discovered they actually owed me money.

Another large complaint is with move out. Prior to living in this place I had rented from at least seven other places and I always received a full refund of my deposit. At this place I had to pay them over $400. My wife and I spent an entire weekend making the place spotless and fixing minor problems and they charged us $200 for cleaning and maintenance. They charged us to replace the carpet that had been lived on for seven years between us and the previous residents, and they charged us to replace stuff that didn't need to be replaced. My advice would be to not waste a whole lot of time on cleaning when you move out just wipe everything down and then wait for your move out bill. At least you won't feel like you wasted 14 hours of your life and had to pay somebody to clean stuff that was already clean.
