Review for Willow Park Apartments

Let's face it, you can't beat the price. This is the reason the apartment basically has you by the unmentionables. Nothing is kept up in the apartments, our walls are basically crumbling down, none of the doors shut properly, the cabinets are old and chipped, and the molding around the floors is coming up. We always have ants in the spring, the outdated laundry facilities are in an old, wet basement, and the walls are thinner than rice paper.
The building is located on a main road smack dab in the middle of an intersection, which is frequented by trucks, which makes it extremely noisey. Windows cannot be left open during the night as the noise is comparable to the meat packing district of New York City. In additon, tenets are allotted only once space each. Any extra parking is completely downhill from the apartments (and quite far), which is especially dangerous in the winter. During winter storms, the plow company they hire does a terrible job and snows in everyone's vehicles. Most people get stuck in the "pit" at the bottom of the parking lot and are unable to leave. I cannot tell you how many people I have helped dig out or have tried to push their car up the steep hill.
Perhaps the worst part of living here though, is the "customer service" you receive when you call the company for any sort of question/complaint/work order. A fictional character named Bernadette (who refuses to answer the telephone/return calls) is one of the nasiest most ignorent people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. I know this woman has to be 400 pounds with no teeth because she has this unwavering distain for life and human beings.
Do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more for a decent place to live with decent people keeping it up. Don't thow another penny away to these slum lords!
