Review for Edisto Lake Apartments

We were not allowed to see the apt before we rented it, that should have been our first clue.

We moved in, and found out there were roaches, many roaches. The A/C unit leaked, The windows had ant colonies living in them, so you could never open the windows, and the whater needs to be filtered if you want to drink it. Kids spray graffitti on the walls outside, there is garbage everywhere,
because the residents don't care if they're filthy. There are days when you can't even REACH the compactor to dispose of your trash.

The first weekend after we moved in, people sat out in the parking lot until 2am drinking and making noise, then decided to shoot a gun off for fun. We called the police, who found the bullet casings, but never the shooters. I didn't even stay the full year, it was so bad.

Your children can't be out at night, because the complex is full of people who are either drunk or high.

I would only recommend this apartment to alcoholics and drug pushers, it't the perfect environment for them.
