Review for Timberlake Apartments

I moved in here almost a month ago. I was happy to find affordable housing, close to work with gas prices being what they are....This is an older apartment, but has been well cared for and the maintenance staff got right on replacing my dishwasher when it konked out. The partying and noise at my last place was out of control and I don't see that here...I actually sleep almost too well. There are no junker cars or big noisey dogs running around either. I feel very safe with the two sheriffs that live here.

Okay, if I like it so much, why didn't Igive 5s on everything.... open air parking & no garages (but my rent is CHEAP, so I'm fine with not paying for something I really don't need, but would be nice)...some of the landscaping needs replacing as it is past it's prime, but I'm told that is in the works...and finally the condition of the unit because I think they could use a little updating (I'd love to see newer cabinets in the kitchen to go with all the other newer stuff, but I'm hardly in there anyway. They do tell me they are in the 2009 budget...hmmmm.). Again, it's about price. The newer places had really nice cabinets and light fixtures (one even pointed out to me the chandalier...big deal...whatever) but I can't afford the difference in price for brand spanking new.

The ONLY downfall is I wish some more people my age would move in. There aren't a lot of little kids, which makes it nice, but some mid-40s to play volleyball with would be nice.
