Review for Eagles Landing Apartments

I have lived here now for 5 years and lived in 2 different apartments, all I can say it is not the same since APRIL left. Since the new manager has come in -Paula Southerland is not a nice person, she thinks that because she is a property manager (wonder why) (noone else wants to work with her - so she has to stay here(very high turnover since she has been here..
but she does not care - she makes up rules as SHE INTERPETS THEM, when you ask for it in writing.. guess what you never get a response.
The apartments, yes are a good prie per sq. footage, but I would rather live someone where where the management cares. Maintenance was great when Victor was here.. but guess what.. they fired him, and now that left poor BRIAN on his own... and guess what now - they just transfered him. Maintenance requests... yeah right - unless you harp on them they will put oyu off and put you off and so on.. you get the idea.

The appliances are old or if they are new they SOOOO CHEAP, my dishwasher as GE has put it to me (since they have come to fix it 2x in 1 year siad it perfectly... you get what you pay for, they put the lowest grade appliances here.

The apartments are almost 30 years old and need upgrading, well they started that last year - they upgraded 4 apartments and guess what.. THEY STOPPED, because the contractor was not doing things right get clue - stop being so DAG CHEAP, then to make matters worse - because of the economy - they lowered the rent for ONLY NEW RENTERS, what about the people who have been here for almost 5 years !!!

All I can say - is RENTERS BEWARE, I used to love living here - some apartments are Crooked and when they replaced the carpeting, the floor was cracked - so put a piece of plywood under the floor and now my guest room is 2 different levels.. what is that all about - and they say the apartments have crown molding.. YEAH RIGHT.. ask when the last time the molding was replaced around the floors (espcially in the kitchen or bathroom) when you have older apartments, routine maintenance is necessary and that is what this place DOES NOT DO.. do not fall for the all smiles that RENE and DANA and PAULA try and pull over on you.

Then I laugh even more.. that Corporate (Wendy Stark and Andrea Pippin)actually says they care and they try to handle all customer service issues.. try writing them - you will never get a response, I was told that if I was SOOOO UNHAPPY - then MOVE. WOW ! - Was I shocked ! - why not try and fix the situations instead of covering.. this internet is an amazing place to get information about properties..

All I know - is I AM NOW LOOKING... Not telling anyone what to do - just beware -they have good poker faces.

There has been some good times.. but overall there has been more bad than good. I am ready to move on !
