Review for Highland Hills Apartments

These people are solely looking (in my opinion) to get as much money out of the renter without do much of anything in return. The are on top of their game when it comes to getting people to come here and rent and mainly the people conned into living here are people who move from out of state. They make look good on the internet but you haven't seen anything until you've checked them out in person. The carpet is dirty and festered with mold, and parasites. I wanted them to come and fix a cabinet door and the maintenance man came and ripped the door off and has never replaced it. In between the oven and counter was nasty! They tried to hid it with duct tape. Water leaks and sewer problems are out of control! Every time it rains somebody's apartment is flooded. I've seen pitbull dogs and rotweilers walked without a leash. The pool as never been functional in a year! To top it off they have an air tight lease, so it doesn't matter how they keep the premises, they make it your fault because they have very little liability throughout the contract. If that's not bad enough the have a early termination of lease penalty fee that is equal to the amount of one month's rent and they require 60 days notice instead of the normal 30 day's and the penalty fee has to be paid along with your last month's rent so you will pay double rent in order to leave early. These people (in my opinion) don't care anything about provided quality live. I don't think they have a conscious. If you sign a lease with them (in my opinion) you have just made a deal with the devil!
