Review for St. Charles Apartments

I tend to move around alot, therefore, I have lived in a number of different apartment homes and I have to say that Charlestowne (fomerly St. Charles ) is the worst one yet! From day one it has been one issue after a next. When I moved in the dishwasher was broken and they did not even have the place cleaned up. I had to be the one to throw away the former tenant’s dirty underwear!

The parking there is ridiculous! There are not enough parking spaces for all of the tenants and you can forget about visitor parking. They have ONE visitor parking slot for each building and their “courtesy” officer gets a kick out of slapping one of those bright green parking violations stickers on cars (and trust me depending on how well he put them on there, getting them off is no fun)! I have gotten them for all sorts a little things such as, having my front tire being on (on, not over, but on) the white line!

If cleanliness is next to godliness, then Charlestowne is burning in HELL! They do not maintain the cleanliness of the community. The breezeways were always full of cobwebs and dirt. You know how in spring pollen tends to get everywhere and turns surfaces a light green color, well the stairs, rails, doors and breezeways were no exception. My issue with that is why in the world by November / December are these things still green! It’s called a water hose, spray the damn building down! Furthermore, don’t even let me get started on the countless number of spider webs my guest and I have battled.

Much like the community grounds, the apartment staff is just as crappy! I will not name names, but the two main ladies will you’ll deal with are the biggest mood swing having, lying, manipulating bitches you will ever encounter. My advice to anyone that is dumb enough to move here is keep track of your payments. When you get your monthly bill from them ask for detailed billing accounts of your water and electric usage, because they will try to sneak a fast one by you.
