Review for River Crossing Apartments

My family and I just moved here from out of state and we were expecting a really nice beautiful apartment like it was discribed to us over the phone. When we arrived we liked the outside it was nice and pretty we liked the space of the apartment as well. However after unpacking we discovered the roaches. A bunch were dead and not cleaned in the cabinet above the refrigerator. We also noticed tiny baby roaches coming out of the eyes of the stove. That night we turned on the heat is was a little chilly outside and we discovered the roaches coming out of the vents in all the rooms. They were coming out everywhere the utility closet, the plumbing, bathrooms, and mostly in the kitchen areas. My children are terrified to see the roaches on the walls in their room and wake up screaming at night about the bugs. Now that it is warming up and the temps have been in the 80's the master bedroom and the master bath just stinks like pure cigeratte smoke. I am a non smoker and so the smell is really strong. The smell is so strong that it actually smells like someone is smoking in the room. As much febreze air freshner and lysol we spray the smell comes back. I felt that we were lied too to when we moved in. I asked if they ever had a roach problem here and Katie said no she has never had any complaints about roaches and the extirmenator comes out every 3 months to spray the apartments. In this experience I learned not to trust what people say over the phone. I realized people will tell you anything just to get you moved in especially if your are moving from out of state. We have a couple of months left in our lease and we can not wait to move out of here. I was very unhappy with this moving experience.
