Review for Calibre Brooke Luxury Apartments

Oh my goodness! What just happened to me' I felt like crying on my way back home after leaving the leasing office.

I went to the leasing office of Caliber Brooke Apartments in Smyrna, Ga. to see if my husband and I could live there. I met the older lady named Cindy. I told her I wanted to find out about renting an apartment and she said she could help me. She did not seem like she was busy at all.

So, she showed me the floor plan and a brochure of the community and asked me what my price range was. I told her 700 bucks and she said "well, I suggest you go to promove because they have better deals than we do for your price range" even if my price was more than enough for their one bedroom. I am a newly wed, I didn't need something bigger.

Ok' So, I ignored her unwillingness to promote her business and keep her job; I asked her. "Can I see a model home for your 1br and 2brs apartments'" Guess what she said. She said "do you want to run it back later' I have to go feed a cat." I was shocked. Me being unusually patient, I asked her "so is there anyone else that can show me the place'" She said no.

I told her that was pretty weird. She started to raise her voice saying that she had not fed the cat for a long time and I quote "if you don't mind I have to go feed the cat now." I didn't know if I should have busted out crying or if I should have slap her. She was not busy feeding no cat when I came into that office.

I could not believe it. I left there and till now I can't help but wonder if it had anything to do with my skin color.

This lady totally judged me off of something else. I was not shabby looking, I speak very good English than she actually did, I was serious, I took a shower before I left my home. I mean there was nothing else that must have been her reason for acting that way. I am very certain she would not have done this to just anyone. That we all can agree on
