Review for Randall Heights Apartments

Look I don't even live here but there are somethings that need to be brought to light.I witnessed the landlord go off on the tenants one day, and overheard a lot of things that were not ethical or legal. 1.Why is it the landlord is trying dictate everything the residents do? 2. When does your landlord start telling you that you can't sit outside of the apartment door that you are paying rent for. 3.When does a landlord have the right to tell you what clothes you can and cannot wash in your own apartment. 4. Isn't it mandatory that you repaint every certain amount of years? Why is it some people that has been out there for years still have yet to receive a new paint job in the apartment. 5. Since when does the landlord make you pay for thing like new blinds, new floor tiles, and new doors, when these things were not up to par upon moving in? 6. How is it one of the maintenance men gets paid for the days he is not at work? (sorry I forgot he is her husband) This really needs to be checked out! Especially when the residents feel like inmates. You are supposed to feel comfortable in your surroundings, not confined. Then the residents are concerned but don't want to report it, all because they are worried she will find out and evict them. Well I am not a resident and I'm not going to let my friends and family live in fear! Scared to come out of the apartment when she is there because she told them they can't sit outside their doors. Also if I'm not mistaken, the landlord cannot impose rules for you to follow that were not originally on your lease. It is to my knowledge that a new lease must be written, signed and agreed upon by both parties. That is the legal way to go about it. It is a shame!! This is all some people can afford, but that dose not mean you can treat them like dogs just because you get mad when you think the maintenance man (your husband) is sleeping with some of the residents, or you hear a rumor about it!! However that is another issue. Point being if she gets mad for whatever reason, she should not try to take it out on the residents. Especially when these are paying customers. Would I recommend this apartment complex to a friend? NO!! Because I wouldn't want my friends to recommend me to minimum security prison either!!! Something really needs to be done about this situation.. Weather it be with the newly imposed rules and regulations, or the landlady. Believe me if something is not done I do know how to turn this over to people in higher positions.
