Review for C W Moore Apartments

While I have lived at C. W. Moore for almost ten years, I am getting ready to move on.

Initially, I moved here for the location--right in the heart of downtown Boise. A short distance to the Basque District, the Historic District and the downtown bars. Plus, I can walk about 6 blocks to Bronco Stadium.

The 4-story building is very cheaply built. Due to its location, one has to suffer through a tremendous amount of outside noise, particularly on weekends. The drunks make lots of noise, all the bar-goers make lots of noise, and the idiots who have parties on top of the C. W. Moore Office Complex (across Grove St.) make lots of noise. My idiot neighbor also makes lots of noise. It's to the point now, I can no longer stand the noise.

As for "management," things sadly went downhill once the owner of C. W. Moore hired a "professional" management firm back in about 2006. Prior to this, there was an on-site manager who actually made a decent attempt at getting things repaired. With the "professional" management firm, all they seem to be interested in doing is renting out more apartments.

The grounds are usually dirty. Beer bottles stay littered on the premises. And vandals recently tagged the back of the building with graffiti. Of course nothing has been done in the month it's been up. To be honest, the "manager" likely doesn't know it's even there.

Why do I still live here? Well, I hate to move; plus, I like living in downtown Boise. However, I will be moving onto greener pastures very soon.

Don't move here. After about a week, you'll be sadly disappointed.
