Review for Amli At Oakhurst North Apartments

Gosh, I am so..... disappointed in this property management company. I lost so.... much money in security deposit and then additional money was charged at move out!! Shame on them!! I did a walk through and still received a crazy bill after move out. I called to find out what was going on and dispute charges and they would not do anything. I can't believe that after such a wonderful time there went so.... wrong in the end. I loved living there. I loved my neighbors. I loved the workout facility and always felt safe there. The private entry and square footage was perfect!!! I had so... many great memories there and only moved out to move in with my boyfriend in Schaumburg. I was horrified to see that when I completed my lease that they replaced carpet. why??? They charged me for outlet covers at a rate of like $10 or more an outlet cover, WHAT???? I said why??? I would have replaced them if they needed to be and gone to menards or home depot for much cheaper. Just horrible that when I was disputing it and attempting to work something out with management that they sent me to collections. It really hurt my credit. I am still upset that they could charge so... much for things that cleary did not need to be replaced. I think these property management companies are required to make things up just to keep a security deposit and then they charge additional. Did they not make enough off of me during the 2 years I lived there???? If you are looking, this is a great community but don't expect to get your security deposit back!
