Review for Amli At River Run Apartments

This is not a property that anyone would want to reside.
From the leasing agents who tell you anything to get you to sign a lease to the property itself. It is really a slum property.
The outside of the property looks wonderful. The models also show very well. At first glance it all looks like the perfect place to rent. I actually view the property three times before signing a lease. I thought I was moving to a beautiful community in Naperville. Did my homework, searched and toured many communities and believed this would be a grand place to reside for a year or so after the sale of my home. It has been a nightmare. Run, Run, Run, to another place to rent. AMLI is not a place to find peace of any kind of quiet.


The property is overrun by children who play in the parking lots day and night. An accident waiting to happen because there is no where for them to play. Evey turn in the parking lot you will encounter children playing. Not their fault however. Their just kids. Cars are parked on curbs two deep because there is no parking, not even enough for the tenants.
The garage spaces that are to be used for parking vehicles are used for storage and this leaves absolutely no parking for anyone. You will spend a half hour looking for parking. And lucky to find a spot. Most nights after six pm you will have to walk a great distance to your apartment from your car. The management, if you want to call it that know about the problem but has not interest in correcting it. No onsite management, so after 6 pm when the office doors close it is a big free for all her at AMLI. Kids playing all day and night on the sidewalk that is right under all your windows. Dogs, which I happen to love, so so many not on leashes, no recepticals to place dog poop. Barking dogs, everywhere. This in not a upscale prosfessional residential community.

I have contacted regional management, all you will receive is a run around. Once you sign a lease they have no interest in correcting the many many problems they have here. This community on a scale of one to ten is a -10.

Your life at amli will allow you no sleep, walls are paper thin,
all the cabinets slam, so you can hear everyone cooking etc..all hours of the evening. Pipes start banging at 5 am when people use their showers. Very poor plumbing. Front door of rental will blow open if both locks are not secured.
My unit was not fully painted when I moved in six months ago.
Fixtures hanging from kitchen and stairway were full of cobwebs and bugs. bathrooms barely cleaned. Feeling safe here. NO. Too many kids with not enough to do hanging around. Garages filled with all kinds of chemicals and storage of god knows what right under you. Have met many people that moved out and wish I had spoken with them before I signed a lease here.

Very very poorly run community. Especially for a property on the south side of Naperville between White Eagle and Ashbury subdivisions. So for all of you who maybe sold a home and need a place or are having a new home built, or transfer here and need temporary houseing. Stay far far away from the development. It is truely a nightmare.
