Review for Prairie Lakes Apartment Homes Apartments

These apartments were nice for the most part. However be aware, they will rob you bling when you leave. We were told we could paint an accent wall. We paid for paint, and they said we just had to pant it back to prime. We did. My girl is a professional painter. They tried to charge us for the painted wall. The charged for scuffs on the garage wall which were there prior to move in. They charge us for cleaning the inside of the dishwasher?!?!?! How does a dishwasher get dirty in the inside. They will not do a walk through prior til you move out, so no one gets their deposit back, in fact the will try to charge you for "extra" cleaning. We lived their 2 years and the carpet was a little ratty when we moved in and certianly had no problems when we moved out. Yet somehow they felt the need to charge me for the entire rug replacement. Unbelievable. If you don't pay them with in 3 days - prepare for collection calls and credit report hits. I kid you not. This for being a great renter who complained about nothing for 2 years. The rent is attractive but do yourself a favor...look elsewhere. Unless you want an undisclosed amount at their chosing to be billed to you when you move out, and collection calls for months if you don't give in to their gestopo tactics.
