Review for Gates Of Deer Grove Apartments

I was drawn in by the awesome exposed brick walls... I lived here for less than a year, and it was by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in. The windows and sliding glass door where very low quality and had gaps in them. During the winter, snow came in through both and gathered around the window and on the floor. With the heat turned all the way up, the temp inside was 60 degrees. We had to run the oven to stay warm enough. Maintainence came several times with cheap solutions that never worked and didn't even show up several other times. We didn't get a discoun on our rent and never got the problem fixed or an apology. This was happening in at least 10 other units in our building also. The staff was terribly rude and didn't see a problem with our apartment being 60 degrees in the middle of winter. We also had our dishwasher break the first time we ran it, water leaking from the ceiling, and there was never enough parking. The service is terrible. The apartments look nice, but don't be fooled. They were cheaply renovated and have tons of hidden problems. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX TO ANYONE!
