Review for Grandview Square Apartments

This is a decent apartment for the money. There is a park nearby & tons of room to park. Inside the apartment is about what you would expect with minor blemishes here & there. Coin operated laundry in the basement & a storage unit for each apartment outside with padlock.
There are a few main issues with the apartment. The biggest one is the fact that the internet is complete crap. It is done through ************ & they have one router for an entire building using the outdated b wifi signal. It seems like there is no filter to prevent one person from using all the bandwidth & making it slow for everyone. It can also be a pain in the butt to get setup initially. My computer has wifi which works for everything I’ve ever used it with but would not connect to their internet. I have to use an external wifi dongle on a laptop that shouldn’t need it. They could solve this by just having a password for the router that renters could use but instead they go with the computer mac address. This means if you have any friends over with a computer or cell phone with wifi they can’t just simply connect. The biggest problem with the internet is that some days it won’t let you on at all. These always seem to be Sundays or holidays so you can’t just call the company to try and fix it. The other main problem is that the water pipes can be a little noisy from the apartments around you. This wasn’t a huge issue but can get a little annoying.
Overall it would be perfect for the price if they would get a different internet provider and insulate the pipes a little better.
