Review for Regency Apartments

Two days after signing the lease they left a note on my door telling me the rent quoted was an error and that it was actually $75 higher. Told them lease was signed and that was what I was going to pay. They knew I had them so they agreed. Promised me a TV when I signed lease as a promotion. Never provided the TV. Stated that snow removal was good in the complex. It was poor and only after the roads were driven on for several days. This is pretty sad when you consider the town of Bettendorf does an excellent job with their roads. I gave them 80 days notice and cleaned apartment and gave keys back 29 days prior to end of lease. I paid till the end of lease as required. Never received deposit. Their exercise room is just that ...a tiny room next to the office. The pool is allowed to grow green during the winter...perhaps it is nice in the summer. The young assistant resident manager is an idiot. On my move-in day he lost keys to the office so I was delayed for hours because he could not get the keys to my apartment to give me. The resident manger is a female and looks hot. The open hours on the office door are estimates as they are often not there. Not a bad place to live....but for the price (small 2 bedroom on six month lease was $785, $60 month garage) you could do better. I stayed there only because I could not find six month leases elsewhere. The place is simple, clean and basic and does well for temp living in the area. But don't expect much from the office and don't expect to see deposit again.
