Review for Winding Hills Apartments

I lived at Winding Hills for 1 year. I had a 2 bedroom on the second floor. The apartment was a great size, very roomy! The master bedroom was quite big and the living room was also a good size. I even had 2 bathrooms! The apartment itself was very clean. Also every apartment has an extra storage closet in the hallway. This is an excellent feature! Plenty of room and quite nice. The balcony was a decent size also. The hallways leading to the apartments seem old and outdated. The one thing that my girlfriend and I really couldn't stand about this place though is that we could hear every step from the people above us. Now I must say that these people were definately the loudest people on the planet, but the floors were very creaky. Also the parking situation is horrible! There were many times I had to park 3 buildings away and walk through the rain or snow. Maintenence was good and upkeep was also good (snow removal and landscaping). Rent wasn't too bad for what we got. They have a pool that is pretty nice and a workout room that really isn't too bad - not a lot of equipment, but it has the essentials and a tv with cable! Overall this was a great place to live, and I would recommend the top floor if possible. I would defiantely say check this place out - one of the nicer places to live in Davenport!
