I have been cursed at by the landlord and told to move because he refused to police tenants who smoked. They smoke indoors. He allows it because he states "You are the only one to ever complain about the smoke" Wow! Ever? HE says "I don't like smart-asses - you have 30 days to move out" Really - I have 9 months left on my lease - check the law. This is the ignorance I deal with on simple issues that take 5 minutes to deal with. The lady upstairs is tired of the noise from across the hall. The person across the hall is tired of the noise above him. The music is so loud in the summer time, but do to city ordinances - you can't do anything about it until after 11pm! The smoke from down the hall pours out of their door frame gaps and into other renter's doors into their apartments. The landlord says to quit complaining and deal with it. You can hear people coming and going and slamming their doors and people's footsteps on the stairs rumble easily heard within your own apt. Too make matters worse - the highschoolers play bass and squeal their tires every morning and every afternoon. It is dangerous to cross streets or drive with their poor driving "skills". I do not see these apts as getting better or conditions changing for the better. Come here if you are rowdy, like partying, enjoy noise and are a smoker. You will feel right at home.
