Review for Timberland Springs Apartments

I moved on short notice so wasn't able to do in depth searching for apartments when I moved. I was pleased to find these, as upkeep looked good, management and staff were kind. Only thing I did not like about these are that they had an in-wall air conditioner. ( I love central air )

Pros: Ample parking, even having a bunch of friends over cant fill the lot. Also, I rarely heard anyone else, these apartments are really sublimely quiet. Controlled access buildings, really nice, but midway through, some of the codes got out and a bunch of people were coming in, but cant rate that as a bad thing about these. Maintenance staff was nice, and helpful. These were also centrally located, literally 5 blocks to the interstate. It was quick to get nearly anywhere in town from here!

Cons: After I signed, within the first month I noticed a rather sharp change. My apartment leaked, and due to ceiling damage, it was pretty obvious that it had before. When approached management denied that it had ever happened, before but would look into it. About 2 months later it was finally fixed, but by this time damage had spread to the bedrooms, too. Unfortunately this hasn't been fixed to this day ( 12+ months later ), and I am pretty sure mold has heavily invested the walls. This was not the only lie to come from this management.

After the change in codes, were were never notified of our changed codes, nor was the overall change even announced. Many of our co-tenets complained about this. I consider this a horrible oversight by management.

Unfortunately we had police there at least one every two to three weeks. ( This happened mostly at nights )

Overall: I would advise you to really just look for a better apartment, because although noise, parking, location and maintenance were all nice things, the management was just terrible. If you are looking for customer service oriented management, I implore you to look elsewhere, as I would not wish the manager on my worst enemy.
