Review for Dunes At St Andrews Apartments

I lived in the apartment for 1 year but signed 6 mo leases because my living situation was not clear. i.e. wasn't sure if my job would keep me in OP. I had a microwave that worked but the turntable never worked for the entire year. I complained and they stated they had to order a part. Why couldn't they install a different one?

My apartment was broke into and after the fact they installed a striker plate on the door however, it did not fit right and the air and dirt would blow through the door. That flimsy thing will not keep the next burgler out! When the police were writing up the report I finally met some neighbors and come to find out a couple of others within the building had also been robbed.

The outside hallway light was broken and never fixed and the parking lights came on and went off when they wanted. It was very dark in the parking lot. I complained about the light and it was never fixed either.

The range in the kitchen was wobbly which caused everything to cook to one side. Because of this the food would over flow into the burner but yet I was charged with burner replacement on my deposit.

I had mice that were having babies that took residence in my apartment and thank God when I called the office there was a new girl who said she would call an exterminator out. Once the manager figured out that an exterminator was called she nipped that and had the regular staff handle by placing box covered sticky traps around the apartment. The only thing those are good for is catching the bugs and spiders.

BTW, the walls are very thin. You can definately hear everything that goes on above you if you live on the main floor. It got to be comical because we would see the boy friend drive up and say "oh no" this is going to be a long night!

I could go on and on but i think you will get the gist of the problems with The Dunes. Stay clear of that place!!!!
