Review for Southgate Apartments

Tifanny the manager is, quite frankly, scary. She lies her heart out (her and her staff) to get you to move here and once your in, it is like all they want to do is make you miserable and then laugh. Its unbelievable. They have what we residents call "TOW DAY" were they hire three two trucks to hull off a ton of cars, constantly find new ways to make money such as raising rent, stealing your deposit, or fining you $50 dollars a day per item for things on the balcony like tables and flowers. (only chairs are allowed unless you are related to the staff but they wont admit this till after you owe $350 for having a table and 5 hanging plants). Also--they are so desperate for finding new people they will let anyone in so plan on smelling weed every night and paying drastically more in rent in only 1 year. Also, the pool smells like garbage and maintence never shows up to fix a thing...literally. My faucet has been leaking for 8 months....the laundry room is a joke so youll be at the laundromate a few miiles away or renting a machine which does not work and they will NOT give you money back on the rental price for it. And....my personal security system has never worked, three outlets were just hanging off the wall when I moved in, my fire alarms had no baterries when I moved in, two full pieces of blinds were missing, and my frdige managed to go out a long time ago so I had to HURE a maintenence man from a nearby apt. complex to fix it. My advice? Go to Tanyard apartments...those are BRAND new and I here a lot better plus you get a full sixe washer and dryer in the unit and the rent is lower! Then again, this is the worst place out there. Also, Ive been called a b*tch TWICE by Tiffany the manager after contacting here about maintenece issues and car break-ins.
