Review for Cordova Court Apartments

I lived in this apartment complex for about 8 months in 2006. I moved back at the end of March 2009. The apartment complex is a great place to live. There are courtyards for kids to play in and a decent sized pool. There are also grills that you can use in one of the courtyards. The management are very kind and sweet women who treat you like family. The maintenance staff are very nice and respectful. They put out monthly bulletins that always can make you laugh a little. They try to do things for all of the residents to come together, for example, an Easter Egg Hunt. What impressed me even more than all of these great things at one of the lowest prices in town, is the way they respond in a crisis. One wing of the apartment complex was hit by a tornado on the Thursday before Easter. The roof was ripped off and ended up in the courtyard. Both of the managers were at the apartment making sure that everyone was okay within an hour of the tornado striking. Luckily, there was not a single person injured. (YAY!!!) The next day the management had crews out there repairing what they could and picking up the courtyard. Because a severe storm was headed in on Easter Sunday, they did what they could to make sure the roof was covered and tried to prevent water from leaking into the apartments. Unfortunately, water did leak. Because of the severity of the water in the apartments, the management put us up in a hotel because our homes weren’t suitable to live in. They have been out at the apartment complex every single day to check on the status of the apartments and to check on all of the residents. On Saturday, they still had the Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, despite the tornado damage and power outage. One of the managers even hosted a grill out on Saturday for the residents. This apartment management team has truly impressed me by making a point to learn everyone’s names, including our kids. The management and maintenance at this apartment complex have gone above and beyond the bar of expectations that was set fairly high. I am so glad to call Cordova Court home.
