Review for Greenbriar Condo Apartments

Safety: I have lived here for 6 years. In the past 3 years, the people next to me and the people above me have been burglarized. There are weird people yelling and running through the breezeway outside which has happened frequently.

Parking: One space per assigned unit, with many random people and neighbor's friends parking in your spot. A sign outside says towing is strictly enforced, yet when you call "security", they do nothing or at most, set a warning paper on their windshield, every time.

Appearance: Nice

Officer Staff: Moronic! One lady (which is the only one in the office) claims her hours are from 9am-1pm, but this is rarely the case. Hit or miss for attitude (6 years of experience)

Maintenance: The head maintenance guy seems to come into my house for years with his key to replace my air filter no matter how many times I tell them to leave it at the door and I will do it. He leaves it at the door for everyone else, except for me. Very weird! Sometimes I'm in the shower and I hear someone outside the door because of this. Also, the office manager lets her half mentally-handicapped son (not meant to be mean, but serious) do the repairs and construction around here in exchange for rent. He is neither nice nor competent, at all!

Condition of Unit: If you have a problem, consider calling the manager or maintenance to be tripling the problem. I have only had ONE problem due to a plumbing leak in a neighboring unit. One problem, not bad right? Well it's been going on for 1.5 years and still not fixed and mold is growing because of this. The concern here is of deadly mold thats grown in people's houses becauses of cases like this.

Noise Level: Moderate. You live next to a busy street (Doucet, and yes it is busy, don't let anyone fool you.) Odd characters can be heard at all times of the night. The walls are PAPER THIN. Not too long ago, The Sheriff's Office busted a drug ring operating out of the apartments by me. And the drug people, they weren't hiding their stuff too well.

Overall Rating: I have listed many things wrong. This is not EVERYTHING. Odd I know. I made it sound like hell. There are good/great neighbors. But also the opposite. I believe when you take in the whole of the place, it earns 2 stars. I do enjoy the location and the spaciousness. If you're asking yourself why I lived here for 6 years and am STILL here, then I will answer you it's not that bad. I have pointed out what I believe to be ALL that's bad. So if you can deal with what I have listed, then you shall fine this place a good place to live. I think it's important to say the worse thing is: The Staff/Maintenance...or lack there of.
