Rented: From 2009 To 2009

After living at the Bethesda Hill Apartments for seven months, I parked a rental car in my regular parking area overnight while my personal vehicle was in the repair shop. The next morning, my rental car was missing. The apartment management had towed and impounded my car without contacting me. My out-of-pocket costs were around $180 and I missed important meetings at work while retrieving my car from the towing company’s impound lot. The Bethesda Hill Apartment manager, Ms. Sylvia Lopez-Masaya, did not apologize and declined to compensate me for my costs. She also stated that immediate towing of unregistered cars was company policy. I think that this policy and practice is unreasonable and abusive of rental clients. I cannot recommend this apartment complex.
