Review for Sumner Highlands Apartments

These apartments are a complete ripoff. For $2300 a month for a 700 sq foot 2 bedroom you can do a lot better in this area. The area itself is nice, but there are better options. Parking will most likely not be an issue simply because no one in their right mind would pay the asking prices on these apartments and they will struggle to rent them out. Before the renovations, parking was a nightmare and if you arrived at home late at night, it would be very difficult to find a parking space if not impossible. Management is horrible, they have made numerous mistakes in the past with people's rent, charging late fees, or not even crediting people for rent that they paid. Often we had requested service when something major broke in our apartment, and they would set a time to come and fix the issue and then never show up. And as for the apartments themselves, they are extremely small despite looking elegant. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this place unless the rent drops a good $600-700. If Bethesda wasn't such a nice place to live I would have given Sumner Highlands an overall rating of 1, but the area bumps it up a notch.
