Review for Briarcliff Apartments

There is plenty of parking for Briarcliff North. And the apartments are large. But, and that's a big but, you have to share the utilities (gas, hot water) with the other 11 apartments in your building. The management tells the tenants to save up on heating, yet the place isn't well insulated. The leasing agents didn't explain that when I asked them about utilitiles. That's not a good thing if you don't use much utilties because you aren't home much. Someone who stays at home a lot would run up the bill for the rest of us. It is in the lease that you share utilities, so read it before initializing, but the leasing agents don't know much of anything. My utility bill is already 2-3 times as much as my last place. The maintenance isn't very responsive, it takes a while for them to fix things, so you may have to contact them more than once. For a place this size, the least they could have done is give us some blinds instead of shades. Ick.
