Review for Pebble Creek Apartments

I moved into this apartment with my husband and at first the office staff was SO friendly. They made us sign the lease BEFORE we got approved. Ive never heard of this before. They said we had no commitment to the lease until we were approved which they said we had about a week until we found out. Right after we left the apartment we went to look at another apartment, and my cell rang. I was approved that soon. I had no time to look at another apartment I wanted to and I was locked in. I had so many problems with the office staff after that. After I was locked in, they treated me and my husband like crap. They said one thing over the phone to me and then she acted like she didnt say it and then say another thing. Maintainance sucks. You have to call 2 or 3 times until they actually come. In the summer, if you keep your air on all the time, the AC stops working for a few days altogether. The smoke detector is a foot away from the kitchen. My husband and I cant even cook or remove something from the oven without it going off. (Even with the air/vent thing on above the stove to vent out the smoke) So if we want to cook something we need to take a fan and sit it on the kitchen table directed toward the smoke detector so it doesnt go off. Walls are PAPER thin. Everybody can hear what everyone is doing..the little kids above us constantly stomp around with the mother screaming all day every day. My husband and I actually got a noise complaint for the smoke detecter going off at night (Like its our fault..my husband works late and gets home late so he eats when he gets home which is usually late)!! The apartment from day one had a musky odor to it and still does. The kitchen is VERY small. One time the kitchen bulb blew out and maintaince had to come over and unscrew it from the ceiling piece to replace it, and dead bugs and rat droppings fell from the ceiling and he left them on my kitchen floor after replacing the light and screwing the fixture back in. THAT shows how dirty and old this place is. CONSTANTLY cops at the building next to us. There are PERMAMENT brown stains in the toilet. In the summer, its bugs GALORE. I had to spray a million times, but bugs just keep on coming. THANK GOD my lease expires in July i am OUT!!!!!! Never again will I rent from ANY Henderson-Webb apartment building.
