Review for Glendale Rd Apartments

The grounds
The owner maintains the grass.
There are no flowers, trees or landscaping.
He keeps old chairs,and junk from the
cellar in the yard.
The barrels are usually scattered around
the yard.

Apartment Description

This is a small overpriced 1 bedroom
apartment on the third floor.
There is no hand railing leading
to the third floor.
It appears to be a renovated attic.
Although it is advertised as 1 bedroom,
it is more like a large studio with
adjoining doors between rooms.
The apartment has nice hardwood floors,
and is freshly painted,except for
cupboard which has old contact paper
and holes in the wall that need to
be re plastered.

The kitchen has new refinished cabinets
that look professional. The cabinets look like maple or mahogany. Behind the cabinets there is a scary looking crawl space,that you need to keep closed. Watch out for kids or pets.

Because this apartment is a renovated
attic, it can be very hot because
it is near the roof,and very cold
because he did not completely drywall
all the closets. The windows are
new, but they let in a little gappy
air.

The bedroom is very small. It fits
a small single bed. The living
room is the size that would fit
one single occupant.The bathroom is pretty good but plain.

The condition of the unit is good.

Appearance
The overall appearance of the apartment
is good,because it is a good solid house. The landlord did not completely
paint and renovate the hall or
entrance way. The painting in the
hall is unprofessional and unclean
looking. He does not dust or maintain
the entrance hall,or back entrance hallway. The landlord is
still renovating the house. The paint
and the trim of the house is pealing.
The landlord does nothing to make the
house look good in the neighborhood.

Parking

There are two parking driveways.

Office Staff and Maintenance
The landlord lives in the house.
The landlord maintains what is necessary.

Noise Level
It is extremely noisy. The landlord
uses a cell phone and the internet with
speakers day and night.
The landlord has a party lifestyle
and disturbs the peace, past 11:30 PM
on any day of the week.
In addition,he works on the house at
night.

Safety It doesn't feel safe because
the landlord has maintenance and party
goers in day and night.

Overall rating: 1 star
because of the noise level, partying,
disrespect of neighbors and tenants
disturbing the peace, and lack of
care and maintenance of a good solid
house
