Review for Pilgrim Village Apartments

We have been renting for many years and never had problems with the leasing offices of different complexes. We didn't even have a problem with these people until we moved out. We left our apartment in better condition than we have ever left a previous one and didn't even think to take pictures because it was in such good shape. Well, about 3 weeks later we get a letter in the mail saying we owe the apartment complex over $300 for carpet cleaning above and beyond regular cleaning. I just wish we had taken pictures because the staff aren't even willing to speak to us about the "many stains" in the carpet that we supposedly left and are telling us to take court action if we are unhappy. Well without proof, it doesn't matter what we say...the judge will say we need to pay. So, if you want to rent here or anywhere, please take pictures when you move in AND when you move out to protect yourself.
