Review for Sterling Lake Apartments

Our overall experience was quite good. We have been here 7 months and chose this place because of the great price we got on it. The one bedroom is among some of the smallest in the area with no extra storage, but it was a sacrifice we were willing to make. We were on a first floor so the the apartment stayed very cool in the summer (only needed to turn on the ac once) but was very cold in the winter.
The maintance crew was very friendly and show up in a timely manner. We did have a flooding problem since it was a ground level, and they had a company their the next morning sealing up the wall. My one complaint about them was i caught the maintenance guy smoking in the community laundry room and found in cigerette in the garbage with all the lint.
You must have a hight tolerence or love of children to live here. There were several three people families living in our open bedroom building. The kids understandably get restless and storm the halls. several nights it would go on for hours on end, playing soccer, screaming and playing with the mailboxes.
Other than that, there was virtually one noise coming from the apartments themselves, the unit was spotless when we moved in, the snow was shoveled promptly, and you can rent movies from the office (though we never did).
