I am leaving my lease early because I do not feel safe living here. A large majority of the residents are Section 8. The laundry room is never clean. When I moved in, my apartment was dirty. I put in two requests for repairs when I moved in that were never honored. For the most part, it was quiet. However, the risks outweigh the benefits. The police are here on about a weekly basis. A friend of mine said there is a lot of drug trafficking that takes place here. People loiter on the stairs, and it's a joke that the buildings have controlled entry because residents will prop open the doors and I've taken different exits when I've seen questionable looking people sitting in the lobby waiting to get in because someone opened the door. It's a cheaper place to live, but there's a reason for that.
