Review for Burgundy Apartments

I lived here for 2 years. Although I didn't exactly HATE the place...I didn't love it either.

In the 2 years I was there...there was a leak under the kitchen sink...the refrigerator would freeze food, and the food would melt in the freezer...the air conditioner would blow warm air...my bathroom tub constantly grew mold, no matter how much I cleaned it...and the laundry room flooded. The things in my apartment maintenance took their time fixing, if they fixed them at all. The kitchen sink was fixed within a day or two. The refrigerator/freezer took over a month (which meant I lost a lot of money on spoiled food). The air conditioner never did get fixed.

As far as safety goes...the parking lot isn't well lit...and there are several people who like to loiter in the parking lot. I never really felt threatened...but it's smart to be aware of your surroundings. The building is secure...but people often prop the door open with a garbage can or something.

Overall it was an ok place to live...but probably not somewhere I'd rent again...unless I had nowhere else to go.
