Review for Sterling Pointe Apartments

The Good: reasonable rental rates, apartments are not in bad shape but could use some updating, plenty of parking just outside the units, current manager is the best we've ever had-though somewhat inexperienced, convenient location, most tenants are pretty respectable indicating that they are pre-qualifiying people.

The bad: Rental rate are going to take a huge jump at renewal time as mentioned in the lease.
Maintenance has always been terrible with each new worker-poor quality repairs and short cuts, long wait periods in excess of 3 weeks, never any notice upon entering the apartment.
A new policy that doesn't appear in your lease states that appliances such as dishwashers, garbage disposals, ceiling fans and such won't be replaced or repaired. This is their "It isn't standard with the apartment" policy. This is offensive since prospective tenants will base their decision to rent according to what amenities are included. Similarly if the tenant replaces them, they must be left behind when you vacate. That is a great deal for the owner!!
I will continue living here but there could be some improvements made to the property and it's policy. I would still recommend it to my friends.
