Review for Deville Southwest Apartments

So I read all the skeptical reviews, but for the price and the option for a 3 month lease I couldn't pass it up. When I moved in, I documented every thing, from stains on the carpet, to nail holes in walls. I was there for 3 months, and after that they let me go on a month-to-month basis, which was amazing! Granted it costs a little bit more to do a 3 month lease, but with the flexibility, I would recommend it. It was $435 for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, with 3 mo. lease. After I did the month to month for a couple of months I had to move due to job re-location. Also it said no pets, and they let me have a fish, so that was nice. When I moved, they came and inspected it, it was in good shape, and I cleaned everything that was on the list. It said to steam clean the carpets or else it would be $60, but I just vacummed really well, and they didn't charge me. I got my full deposit back without a hassle. Great experience, Great price, Great flexibility. Also they have a pool which you can access until 8 PM, which was nice to go to after work.

The negatives - You must secure your storage locker, things get stolen frequently from storage. The hallways don't smell the best. The room was fine, but the hallways always smelt.

Also, parking was always good, plenty of spaces close to the door open. They cleaned the snow very quickly so it was easy to drive up and down the big hills they have in the driveways. Neighbors were very quiet, could sometimes hear neighbors singing through the vents.

Maintenance was very good, came within 30 minutes from being called, and always came as soon as contacted, even on weekends. Staff was always friendly and helpful. If not for job relocation I would have stayed until it was time to purchase a house.
