I would not move here. I broke my lease because it was a horrible experience. The cops are always there, it is section 8 and a little ghetto. It was always loud because people would always be out in the front. Kids would run around unsupervised. I would not live there if you paid my rent every month. Also the maintenance came into my apartment and stole a bunch of stuff. If you want to live in the golden ghetto of Lees Summit move here.
