The apartments are decent but over priced because of their location. My car was broken into during the year I lived there. There are homeless people constantly going through the dumpsters, and occasionally wandering the halls. The halls smell awful. The office staff is unprofessional and argumentative. When I had my move out walk through, I was told that I had cleaned the bathroom well enough (I scrubbed the holy hell out of it) and that I wouldn't be charged. A month later, I received a statement saying that I was being charged to clean the bathroom. Unbelievable. It will suffice to say I am still in a long battle to get my money back. Apparently this happens to quite a few people, because one of the office staff told me that I "didn't even get it that bad," and that "lots of people were really upset." Congrats, Magers, on taking advantage of college students.
