Review for Bay Ridge At Nashua Apartments

Let me give you a summary of our former residence called
Bay Ridge at Nashua

- The irritating stuff

- Fights in the swimming pool
- Walls as thin as paper
- Noisy neighbors
- Police cruisers in and around Bay Ridge ( Not a good sign )
- Old Appliances
- Air Conditioning system is very noisy and inefficient.
- Utilities costs are rather high despite keeping keep the
appliances unpluged and the air conditioner at a minimum
- Bathroom fan makes your neighbors floor rattle. If they turn
it on, you will feel it.
- It's the crime around Bay Ridge that concerned me. The apartment complex itself is ok. Just that. ok. Make sure that you keep an eye on the building doors. There are neighbors that keep the back door open so that people they know can come in.
There was also an incident of someone breaking into a car.

The good:

- Regardless of the noisy airconditioning system, it does its
job well
- Next to highway and walking distance to lots of stores
- Washer and dryer in unit
- A large gym

Summary:

- Bay Ridge itself is not a bad place to stay if you have considerate neighbors. Its just that ok. A bit expensive. However, you have access to a variety of good stores and a mall that is walking distance. In regards to crime, I lived in a very nice upper class neighboorhood that had incidents of vehicle and home theft. This is despite a security guard and police patrol.
