Review for The Colonials Apartments

The owners of this apartment complex are more concerned with taking your money and giving you as little as possible for it. I moved to The Colonial apartments because the rooms were large and the apartment appeared to be nice enough. However, once I moved in, I noticed that there are major problems that you would not notice when touring the facilities such as the non-working exhaust and ventilation system, cigarette smoke coming into my apartment from the neighbors below and nextdoor, no AC in public areas or elevators, etc.) Like me, many people chose The Colonials because of the apartment space, convenience to work and shopping but if I had to do it all over again, I would never move here. I'd rather travel the extra miles than put up with the living conditions here and the non-responsive management staff. Living at The Colonials has been the most awful experience in apartment living that I've ever had and ever hope to have again. When my lease is up, I'm definitely moving into a better managed and maintained apartment if not a house.
