Review for Propect Towers Apartments

The tenants are always fighting with the landlord. They have a current rent strike going on. They all pay their rent to the court. No one told me this before I moved in. The lady in the office is a real con artist. She smiles at youm but refuses to fix anything. They didn't even paint the walls before I moved in. Everything in my apartment was broken within 4 weeks of living there. Toilets ran all over the floor and bubbled the floor. the central air is a myth. They turn it on just for you when you come there. Then it's never working again. Water destroys clothes, furniture and appliances because the pipes are old. The old tenants that own their places just keep telling you how nice the place was 20 years ago. The management talks to you like you're dirt after they get your money. They keep the hallways and lobby dark so you won't see the dirt and torn up carpets. The elevators work maybe 10 days out of a month. I stayed 7 months. I said screw the deposit I deserve to live like a human being. I left and I've never been happier. So if you want to come home from work to a depressing, flooded apartment and pass a doorman with an attitude while your car is being towed away, then this is the place.
